On your computer:

  1. Log in to eWānanga LMS
  2. Navigate to your course
  3. Click on the VoiceThread assignment link provided by your pouako
  4. If you’ve already created the VoiceThread you wish to submit, select it from the list on the left, and then click “Submit Assignment” on the right. Be sure to check the box to “share with class” if you want your classmates to see your submission. You’re done!
    Continue below if you haven’t yet created the VoiceThread you want to submit
  5. Click on the “Create new VoiceThread” button at the top of the page
  6. Click “Add Media” and add all of your slides to your VoiceThread. You can repeat this process as many times as you need. Click here for more about creating a VoiceThread
  7. You’ll see a pop-up window asking you to title your VoiceThread.  Give it a title, and use the other tabs in that window to adjust your playback settings and thumbnail image, as well
  8. Click “Comment” at the top of the page
  9. Record your comments. Click here for more about commenting on a VoiceThread. Close the VoiceThread when you’re done.
  10. Click “Submit Assignment” at the top of the page, then confirm by clicking “Submit Assignment” again on the pop-up.
    Note: If you want to share your submission with your whole class, check the box for “and share with class” before submitting. If you don’t check this box, your submission will only be shared with your pouako.
  11. You’re done!  You can now navigate back to your eWānanga course


On your mobile device:

  1. Login to eWānanga LMS in your mobile web browser
  2. Navigate to your course
  3. Tap on the VoiceThread assignment link provided by your pouako. This will open the VoiceThread app. If you are prompted to tap a blue button to “Open in the VoiceThread App”, tap that.
  4. If you’ve already created the VoiceThread you want to submit, tap on that VoiceThread on the left, and then tap “Submit Assignment”. Be sure to check the box to “share with class” if you want your classmates to see your submission. You’re done!
    Continue below if you haven’t yet created the VoiceThread you want to submit.
  5. Tap on the “Create VoiceThread” button at the top of the page
  6. Tap on the + icon to add slides to your VoiceThread. You can repeat this process as many times as you need. Click here for more about creating a VoiceThread.
  7. Tap “Done” when you’re done adding your slides
  8. Now you’re back on the submission page.  Select the VoiceThread you just created, and then tap “Submit Assignment”. Tap “Share with class” if you want the rest of your class to see your submission.  If you do not check this box, your submission will only be shared with your teacher.  You will see a green confirmation at the top of the screen when your submission is complete.
  9. Tap on the X in the top-right corner of this page to go back to your course.

Note: It is very important that you click “Submit Assignment” in order for your teacher to grade your work.  If you forget to do this, you can always come back to the assignment page and submit later.  You will not need to redo your work as it should already be saved.
