You can add a background to your PowerPoint slides in a few different ways, depending on the look you're going for. Here's how to do it:
Option 1: Add a Solid Color or Gradient Background
- Right-click on the slide (in the main area or slide thumbnail).
- Select Format Background.
- Choose:
- Solid Fill: Pick a color.
- Gradient Fill: Choose or customise a gradient.
- Click Apply to All if you want it on every slide.
Option 2: Add an Image as a Background
- Right-click on the slide > Format Background.
- Select Picture or Texture Fill.
- Click Insert:
- Choose From File to upload an image.
- Or use Online Pictures to search the web.
- Adjust transparency if needed to make text more readable.
- Click Apply to All if you want it on every slide.
Option 3: Use a Design Theme
- Go to the Design tab.
- Choose a theme or click More to browse.
- Use Variants to tweak colours and styles.
