Enabling Remote Access to ClinicalKey
Introduction
ClinicalKey is a clinical search engine designed to assist physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in making informed decisions. It provides the latest evidence across various specialities in multiple formats, including full-text reference books and journals, point-of-care monographs, drug information, videos, practice guidelines, customised patient education handouts, and more.
Steps to Enable Remote Access
To search ClinicalKey while off-site, students (tauira) and staff need to activate Remote Access. Follow these steps to ensure seamless access:
Step 1: Visit the Activation Page
Ensure you are on campus at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi. Navigate to the designated page for remote access activation.

Step 2: Enter Your Institutional Email Address
Provide your institutional email address in the required field and click on "Continue."

A notification for confirmation will display;

Step 3: Confirm Your Email
A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provided in Step 2. You must click on the link within this email within 60 minutes to activate remote access.
Log into https://outlook.com , to access the activation email.
Use the same username and password as you used to log into eWānanga.
